Statewide tornado drill slated for 9:50 a.m.

The Lucas County Emergency Management Agency is participating in a statewide tornado siren drill at 9:50 a.m. today.

The drill is part of National Severe Weather Preparedness Week, which started Monday and runs through Saturday.

The week is sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration.

Lucas County SKYWARN will host a Severe Weather Spotter Training for the public at 10 a.m., March 29, at ProMedica St. Luke's Hospital Aaditorium.
