A 12-year-old boy is accused of robbing a 14-year-old boy of candy at gunpoint.

The boy, who was not identified because of his age, is charged with aggravated robbery and was held Friday in the Lucas County Juvenile Justice Center.

The 14-year-old told police he and two others were walking home from school just before 5 p.m. Wednesday at Stanley Court and Wilson Place when a youth approached them, pulled out a black handgun, and demanded the 14-year-old’s stuff.

The victim had only candy and gave it to the armed youth, according to the police report. The armed youth ran, but police spotted him walking in the same general area and arrested him. The accused is to appear in court again March 18.
