Trustees to meet hour earlier Wednesday

The Perrysburg Township trustees meeting Wednesday has been changed to 1 p.m. from 2 p.m., and the March 19 meeting has been canceled because of a Wood County Economic Development Commission annual dinner.

The township will hold a public hearing today at 6 p.m. regarding zoning. The zoning initiative is trying to create a map that properly zones the current use of unzoned township land and the township will vote to adopt it in November.

Zoning Administrator Kelly Hemminger and township Administrator Walt Celley have been trying to reach out to hear from land owners to make sure land is currently zoned in the initiative.

Trustees approved several police purchase orders, including new flashlights for $1,566.
