Warehouse District seeks cleanup aid today
3/22/2014The Toledo Warehouse District Association is seeking volunteers to assist today with a neighborhood cleanup in anticipation of the Toledo Mud Hens’ baseball season, which opens at home April 4.
Led by volunteers from the University of Toledo’s Big Event, cleanup crews are to gather at Downtown Latte, Lafayette and South St. Clair streets, at 11 a.m. for free coffee.
Gloves and garbage bags will be handed out, and those involved will regroup at 1 p.m. for free appetizers at Ye Olde Durty Bird on South St. Clair.
