Severe weather spotters’ training set at Elmwood

The annual SKYWARN severe-weather spotters’ training for Wood County will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Elmwood Schools Community Center, 7650 Jerry City Rd.

The event is presented by the National Weather Service’s Cleveland office and sponsored by the Wood County Emergency Management Agency. The public training will tell how to identify and report severe weather occurrences to the National Weather Service and local officials.
