Bridge-beam placement will require overnight lane closings on I-475/U.S. 23 at the Ohio Turnpike today through Thursday morning, the Ohio Department of Transportation said.
ODOT is widening its freeway’s bridges over the toll road. The bridge-beam installation is scheduled for 8 p.m. each evening through 6 a.m. the following morning.
The work also will affect westbound traffic on the turnpike. “Rolling roadblocks” will be set up from Exit 71 at I-280, and traffic will be held at the I-75 and U.S. 20 entrances while the beams are placed after 9 p.m. each night until all are in place.
