Second suspect sought in Toledoan’s murder

BLADE STAFF

Toledo police are looking for a second suspect in a Toledo man’s fatal beating.

Roderick Colbert, 20, 985 Post St. is wanted in the April 12 assault on Jeffrey Miller-Lee, 27, that resulted in Mr. Miller-Lee's death.

A second Toledo man, Jerome Carter, 26, of 2520 Monroe St., Apt. 205, was indicted last week for murder and felonious assault in the case. Police said the victim was repeatedly punched and kicked in his head and body, then thrown 8 feet onto a sidewalk outside 417 Cumberland Place.

Mr. Miller-Lee died April 15 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center after being removed from life support.

Police ask anyone with information about Mr. Colbert to call Crimestoppers at 419-255-1111.
