Humane society holds fund-raiser in Wood Co.
5/21/2014The Wood County Humane Society will hold its annual garage sale fund-raiser from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Wood County Fairgrounds grandstand off West Poe Road in Bowling Green.
On Friday, clothing will be priced at 10 cents per item. On Saturday, all remaining sale items can be purchased for $2 per bag.
The organization’s goal is to raise more than $10,000. Proceeds will pay for animal care, staff salaries, and shelter maintenance. All donations are tax-deductible.
