Toledo, county, state, and federal government offices will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day, as will government offices in Perrysburg, Oregon, Maumee, and Sylvania. Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicle deputy registrar sites across the state also will closed.
A list of select businesses and services follows:
Toledo’s Department of Public Utilities will be closed along with Toledo Edison and its parent company, FirstEnergy, and Columbia Gas. Emergency services will be available.
Franklin Park Shopping Mall hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Levis Commons hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fallen Timbers hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Hours may vary for department stores, theaters, and restaurants).
Refuse pickup will be delayed one day for Toledo residents; collection services in other communities vary.
All branches of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday.
Post offices will be closed; no mail will be delivered.
Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority buses will operate on a holiday schedule.
Meter parking in downtown Toledo will be free.
