Portage River Bike Tour offers many routes

The 39th annual Portage River Bike Tour will take place June 22, sponsored by the Maumee Valley Adventurers in conjunction with the Portage River Festival.

The tour has 10, 31, 62, and 100-mile routes for cyclists. The starting point is at Woodmore High School.

Registration and check-in will take place from 7 to 11 a.m. Registration also can be done online at mvadventurers.org.

The Portage River Tour is the first of four annual tours sponsored by Maumee Valley Adventurers. The others are the Metroparks Tour July 19 starting in Whitehouse, the Irish Hills Tour Sept. 21 starting at Centennial Terrace in Sylvania, and the Tombstone Tour and Family Haunted Bike Ride Oct. 25 at Secor Metropark.
