The River Raisin National Battlefield Park will observe Canada Day on Tuesday with a display at the visitor center. The park flies the flag of British Canada and Tecumseh’s Federation, which defeated U.S. forces in the Jan. 22, 1813, Battle of the River Raisin.
Canada became a federation with its own constitution on July 1, 1867.
