Marine Lance Cpl. Chad Ryan Brammer of Lambertville died Friday when his personal watercraft and a boat collided in Lake Havasu, Ariz.
Sheriff’s deputies in Mohave County said that Corporal Brammer, 23, reportedly crossed in front of the boat on his watercraft.
He was wearing a life jacket when he was thrown into the water.
A passing boater pulled him from the water. He was taken to Havasu Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Corporal Brammer, who was stationed with the Marines at Twentynine Palms, Calif., was at the lake with friends, Trish Carter, a sheriff’s spokesman, said.
