Grants awarded worth $70,610
7/11/2014The Andersons Fund Supporting Organization of the Toledo Community Foundation has awarded $70,610 worth of grants to eight local nonprofit organizations.
The Andersons fund awards grants yearly to groups with programs in education, social services, physical and mental health, neighborhood and urban affairs, natural resources, and the arts.
This year, the grants went to A.D.A.M.S. House Inc., Catholic Club, Great Lakes Historical Society, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Open Door Ministry Inc., Sofia Quintero Art & Cultural Center, Sunshine Foundation Inc., and Toledo Day Nursery.
Established in 1973, the Toledo Community Foundation Inc. awards grants to charitable causes.
