The Ohio Turnpike Commission is warning users of its E-Z Pass devices about a scam email.
The emails look like they’re from the Turnpike Commission and accuse the recipient of not paying tolls.
The email directs the recipient to send money via an invoice. E-Z Pass users in other states have received similar emails.
Customers with questions about the validity of a message from E-ZPass should call the turnpike’s customer service center at 440-234-2081, ext. 1075.
