Four Toledo juveniles have been arrested for allegedly breaking into Walbridge Elementary School, police said.

Each child was charged with breaking and entering. Officers were sent to the school, 1245 Walbridge Ave., at 5:39 p.m. Saturday to help school security who saw, on a live surveillance feed, numerous children breaking into the building.

Police said the youths broke a front window near the main entrance and entered the building before fleeing. Toledo police Officers Justin Pritchard and Ben Kiser found three of the suspects in a garage at South Avenue and Daniels Avenue. A fourth was found at his home and was arrested. Police would not release the names or ages of the children.

It was not known how much the window would cost to repair or if the juveniles were students. Toledo Public Schools spokesman Patty Mazur said it did not appear anything was taken from the school. The window, since being broken, was secured, she said.
