Bond reduced to $1M in death of auto dealer
7/23/2014Bond was reduced by half — from $2 million to $1 million — Tuesday for a North Toledo man accused of shooting to death and robbing the owner of a local auto sales business.
Terry Hayes, 48, of 3137 Lagrange St. pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery for the July 8 shooting death of Ricky Layson, 35, inside R&D Auto Sales, 5010 Lewis Ave.
Lucas County Common Pleas Judge James Bates adjusted his bond and scheduled a trial for Sept. 9.
