Five animals were removed Thursday from a home in the 1800 block of Freeman Street.
The Toledo Area Humane Society, with assistance from Toledo police, acted on a warrant to seize three dogs and two cats. The humane society received a complaint June 22 about a foul odor coming from the home.
Nancy Schilb, animal cruelty investigator, said the home is filled with assorted debris and feces.
