TIFFIN — A Fostoria man was sentenced Wednesday to six years in prison for growing marijuana outside of his home.

Larry O. White, Jr., 32, was convicted Tuesday of illegal cultivation of marijuana, a second-degree felony, and sentenced by Seneca County Common Pleas Judge Steve Shuff after a jury trial.

Seneca County Prosecutor Derek DeVine said Fostoria police found marijuana growing outside of his Spruce Street home as well as dried and processed marijuana belonging to others inside the residence. White still faces three counts of trafficking in heroin from a separate investigation.
