Wood Co. Park District marking 80th anniversary
8/26/2014Park lovers can sign up for free tours and events Wednesday to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Wood County Park District.
Events include three-hour tours of three preserves within the park system. Transportation is provided from the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve, 29530 White Rd., Perrysburg. The tours start at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday.
A garden tour with a light lunch also takes place at noon Wednesday, as well as a photography scavenger hunt at 6 p.m. Both events will be at the nature center.
