A Chicago band whose instruments and equipment were stolen last weekend took to social media Friday to thank Oregon police for cracking the case and finding their property.

“Here's a great big shout out to the Oregon, OH Police Division for doing a wonderful job in recovering our stolen band equipment. Thank you to all that were involved in helping out,” Euro Express wrote on Facebook.

A trailer used by the group was broken into at an area hotel. The band had played at the German-American Festival.

“A million blessings on the police of Oregon, Ohio,” said Mazurka Wojciechow-ska, an accordionist for the band. “I was elated because the accordion was not even all paid for. When we got robbed, I was really devastated, and I really liked the accordion too.”
