A licensed practical nurse who was charged with theft of drugs was granted intervention instead of a conviction this week.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Frederick McDonald withheld a guilty finding for Kimberly Mehki, 37, of Lambertville on the fourth-degree felony, which occurred while she was employed at Heatherdowns Rehabilitation and Residential Center in South Toledo.

Judge McDonald placed her in the intervention program for three years, during which time she is to continue counseling, undergo random drug testing and drug/alcohol treatment, and ingest no alcohol or drugs not prescribed to her.
