Pooch swim event to help dog park stay afloat

    The sixth annual Jack’s Pooch Plunge will take place from 1 to 4:45 p.m. Sunday at Sylvania Plumber Pool in Burnham Park.

    The event allows dogs to swim in the heated pool at 6930 Maplewood Ave., Sylvania. Small dogs are encouraged to attend from 1-2:30 p.m. and large dogs will be admitted after 2:30 p.m.

    Admission is $5 per dog. All proceeds will go toward Glass City Dog Park at Woodsdale Park off the Anthony Wayne Trail in South Toledo.
