Clinton O. Longenecker, director of the Center for Leadership and Organizational Excellence in the College of Business and Innovation at the University of Toledo, is a finalist for Baylor University’s 2018 Robert Foster Cherry Award for Great Teaching.

It’s a national award, and the winner receives $250,000, plus $25,000 toward his or her home department, and will teach in residence at Baylor during fall 2018 or spring 2019. As a finalist, Mr. Longenecker has received $15,000 as well as $10,000 toward his department. He’ll present a series of lectures at Baylor this fall and a Cherry Award lecture on UT’s campus this year.

UCLA professor Neil K. Garg and Georgetown University associate professor Heidi G. Elmendorf also are finalists. Baylor officials will announce the winner in the spring.
