Christmas tree disposal offered in Sylvania Township

The designated Christmas trees drop-off area in Sylvania Township in 2016. Trees can be dropped at the township administration building, 4927 Holland-Sylvania Rd., until Feb. 1.

Sylvania Township is accepting Christmas trees for disposal, but no curbside pickup is available.

Trees should be hauled to the township administration building, 4927 Holland-Sylvania Rd., by Feb. 1 and must be unbagged and free of decorations. There is no charge.

In Ottawa Hills, free curbside tree pickup starts next week. Trees for pickup also must be unbagged and free of all decorations.
