The three men charged with obstructing the investigation of the shooting death of a 1-year-old girl have posted bail but must be placed on electronic monitoring that includes global positioning systems, a Lucas County Common Pleas Court judge ordered today.

Keshawn Jennings, 20, of 244 Wasaon St., James Moore, 20, of 2037 W. Terrace View St., and Antwaine Jones, 18, of 3145 Cottage Ave., each are charged with felony obstructing justice. Authorities said they remain suspects in the Aug. 9 shooting death of 1-year-old Keondra Hooks and the wounding of her sister, Leondra, 2.

Judge Frederick McDonald lowered the men’s original $500,000 bond last week to $20,000 for both Jennings and Moore and to $10,000 for Jones after no murder charges were forthcoming. The men returned to court today so that the judge could clarify that GPS electronic monitoring was a condition of their release on bond.

Jennings and Jones posted bond through local bonding companies on Thursday. Moore posted bond today.

The judge also turned the men’s Oct. 2 trial date into a pretrial because of conflict with the court’s schedule. A new trial date will be picked then.
