An Oregon man was indicted Monday by a Lucas County grand jury for his role in the recent escape of a federal prisoner from the county jail.

Antoine Moore, 35, of the 3000 block of Navarre Avenue was indicted for complicity to escape, a second-degree felony punishable by up to eight years in prison.

Prosecutors said Moore gave his identification bracelet and personal information to Don Woodson Ellis, Jr., 28, of Toledo, who was being held in the Lucas County jail on a federal bank robbery charge.

After Moore posted bond and was to be released, Ellis allegedly posed as Moore and was able to leave the jail Aug. 15. Ellis was arrested Aug. 20 in Detroit.
