For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Breed and description; reason; intake type and date with location found if stray. Dogs killed for poor behavior on body-handling and resource-guarding assessments are scored on a scale of 5, with higher scores being more aggressive. Dog-aggression assessments are not scored:

Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix, brown and black female, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (blood in urine); surrendered Aug. 25 by Yanitza Caballero, Lagrange Street, Toledo.

German shepherd mix, brown and tan female, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (12 years old, not eating, unable to walk); surrendered Aug. 25 by Mary Braziel, County Road H, Delta, Ohio.

“Pit bull,” white female, unlicensed; bite attempt; stray picked up by a control officer July 12 at 1811 Talbot St., Toledo.

American bulldog/German shepherd mix, brown and white male, unlicensed; aggressive; surrendered Aug. 23 by Mark Feaster, Ambia Street, Toledo.

Labrador retriever, yellow female, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (11 years old, tumor infested with maggots); surrendered Aug. 27 by Keith Wiggins, Richards Road, Toledo.

Labrador retriever mix, white and tan female; stray taken to shelter Aug. 14 by Heidi Mikolajczyk, Ida Center Road, Petersburg, Mich., from Woodville Road and Pickle Road, Oregon.

“Pit bull,” tan and white male; stray picked up by a control officer Aug. 16 at 1759 Berdan Ave., Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, brown brindle and white male; stray picked up by a control officer Aug. 13 at 2100 N. Ravine Pkwy., Toledo.

Miniature poodle, cream male; stray taken to shelter Aug. 20 by Ryan Cunningham, Perrysburg-Holland Road, Maumee, from South Crissey Road and Airport Highway, Springfield Township.
