In preparation for prom and graduation season, Clay High School hosts a ‘Ghost Out Day’ in Oregon. On April 15, every 50 minutes, a student government member walked into a class, read the name of a student, and gave that volunteer a black shirt and white mask to wear to represent a student having died in a drunk driving accident. During the course of a day, 10 students were to receive the mask. Here, two students wear a mask and shirt during math class. The students who became ‘ghosts’ also couldn’t speak for the rest of the day.
