Man arraigned after shooting gang member in wrong territory

A Toledo man accused of shooting a gang member for being in the wrong territory was arraigned today.

Christopher Graves, 20, of 619 Ashwood Ave., is charged with aggravated robbery and was ordered to be held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $100,000.

Mr. Graves is accused of shooting Keshawn Groom, 19, on Sept. 14, at 15 W. Bancroft St.

Groom, according to a witness, as reported in a court affidavit, is a Folk and was hanging out in Manor Boyz territory. The Manor Boyz are Bloods.

Mr. Groom was sitting in a vehicle outside of a liquor store when he was shot in his abdomen.

A witness told police that a man went up to the driver's side window, put a gun to Mr. Groom's head, and told the victim to give him anything he wanted, and shot the victim once.
