Police arrest suspect in string of robberies
2/4/2014Police think they've got their man in at least four South Toledo robberies.
Davon Motley, 26, of 1729 Parkdale Ave. is charged with four counts of aggravated robbery. He was arraigned Monday in Toledo Municipal Court and remained in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $400,000 bond late Tuesday.
Police allege that Mr. Motley robbed Family Dollar, 1121 N. Reynolds Rd., on Nov. 24; Dollar General, 4400 Heatherdowns Blvd. on Jan. 9; and Wireless Brothers, 528 S. Reynolds Rd. on Jan. 17 and again on Jan. 25.
Police said they believe the suspect is responsible for at least four additional robberies.
