BLISSFIELD, Mich. — An electric power outage occurred in the Blissfield area today, authorities said.

A dispatcher at the Lenawee County Sheriff's Office said deputies were told about the outage about 7 a.m. The extent, the cause, and the duration of the outage were unknown, she said.

DTE Energy spokesman Alejandro Bodipo-Memba said that if any utility customers in the Blissfield area had lost power then all had it restored by 8:20 a.m., at which time no outages in the area were showing in the utility's reporting system. A storm had passed overnight, causing outages in the utility's coverage area, with utility crews working to restore power, he said.

Blissfield, which is in Lenawee County, is about 20 miles northwest of Toledo.
