Lucas County authorities run sweep for violent offenders

Area law enforcement officers arrested residents on warrants Thursday as part of the 19th annual Domestic Violence Sweep.

The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office partnered with federal, state, and local representatives in the effort. Authorities focused on arresting those accused of violent crimes. Officials will announce the results during a news conference Tuesday.
