COLUMBUS -- Vice President Joe Biden will speak at the University of Toledo on Tuesday, as part of a three-day swing through a state deemed critical for the re-election of his boss on Nov. 6.

The subject will again be the economy. As he did in last week’s debate with his Republican counterpart Paul Ryan, Mr. Biden has said that it would be a mistake to reverse the course charted by President Barack Obama to what they've characterized as Mitt Romney's failed policies of the past.

He is expected to speak at 11 a.m. at UT’s Student Union.

Tickets may be obtained on a first-come, first served basis beginning Friday at 9 a.m. at the Student Union’s Trimble Lounge, also known as the South Lounge, and at the UT campus office of Mr. Obama’s campaign at 3125 Door St., and at the campaign’s downtown Toledo office at 119 N. Ontario St.

If tickets are still available, they will continue to be distributed on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Details are also still forthcoming for the rest of his Ohio tour on Monday and Wednesday.
