For the second time in just over a month, a Point Place sandwich shop has been robbed at gunpoint.

Subway, 4870 N. Summit St., was robbed at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday by a man wearing gloves and a scarf over his face, Toledo police said.

The man demanded cash and ran south with the money on Summit. No injuries were reported.

The robber was described as black, about 30 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches, and 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with gray sleeves, faded blue jeans, sunglasses, and an off-white winter scarf. Employees told police the man had “bad acne” on his forehead, and a deep voice.

The same shop was robbed on Aug. 25. No arrests were made in either incident.
