Governor to sign $1.3M cut for Planned Parenthood
Just as Gov. John Kasich takes his presidential campaign from moderate New Hampshire to conservative South Carolina, the Ohio House Wednesday sent him a bill he has pledged to sign to cut off the last $1.3 million in funding the state sends to Planned Parenthood. Republican legislative leaders have dismissed the suggestion that the timing was anything more than a coincidence, but his expected signature is already a presidential campaign issue.
