Bell vetos removing pool pillars
For the second time this week, Mayor Mike Bell used his veto power to overturn something a majority of Toledo City Council authorized. Councilman Tyrone Riley said some pillars once part of an enclosure at a public pool are unsightly and dangerous. Mayor Bell believed otherwise. “This is a frivolous and unneeded expenditure from the parkland replacement fund,” the mayor wrote in a letter to council.
