Children Services seeks $12.7M per year
The Lucas County Children Services Board has approved putting the renewal of a property tax levy with a request for additional millage on the November ballot. The ballot proposal will include renewing a 1.4-mill levy that is set to expire in December and asking voters for an additional 0.4-mill. The request, which is more than the 1.75-mill levy rejected by voters in 2014, will appear as a single question on the Nov. 8 ballot.
