Major Monroe Co. road lanes to be closed today

Emergency concrete repairs will close lanes on the northbound sides of U.S. 23 and I-75 in Monroe County, starting today, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced.

Starting at 7 a.m., one of three northbound I-75 lanes will be closed between Hurd and Nadeau roads, north of Monroe, for concrete patching, reopening by 3 p.m. Friday.

About 7 p.m. today, northbound U.S. 23 will be reduced to one lane near Ida Center Road for concrete patching, to be finished by 2 p.m. Friday.
