Teen killed in West Toledo crash

A teenage girl was killed Tuesday when the motorcycle she was riding collided with a pickup truck in West Toledo.

Police identified the victim as Audrey Patlin, 16, of Toledo.

The motorcycle was headed east on West Sylvania Avenue at about 6:10 p.m. when a pickup truck pulled in front of it.

The driver of the motorcycle — Aaron Tatkowski, Jr., 20, of Toledo — suffered serious injuries, police said.

It was unclear whether the driver of the pickup — Edward Studenka, 71, of Delta, Ohio — was injured.

Additional information was not available Tuesday night as police continued to investigate the crash.
