	<description><![CDATA[St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church will celebrate its 75th anniversary with a visit from its bishop, the Rt. Rev. Anthony Michael, today and tomorrow. &ldquo;The parish began in the Old North End at Mulberry and Huron,&rdquo; the Rev. Ignatius Warren, pastor of St. Elias, said. It was &ldquo;founded by immigrants, mostly from Syria and modern-day Lebanon. Over the years, it's grown considerably. It's become the pan-Orthodox church in Toledo; it's multi-ethnic. [St. Elias] is really the story of the immigrant experience in America, and assimilation and finding our way in a new country and building a new home.&rdquo; St. Elias is now at 4940 Harroun Rd. in Sylvania.]]></description>

	<description>After a March trip to Bethlehem to give hearing care to patients, including fitting 200 hearing aids, including 56 for children, as a volunteer representative of HearCare Connection of Fort Wayne, Ind., audiologist Dr. Randa Mansour-Shousher of Northwest Ohio Hearing clinic in Perrysburg is conducting a drive to collect donated hearing aids for use in the 2014 mission. HearCare Connection works with a wellness center in Bethlehem to provide hearing aids to people in Bethlehem, at Deheishe Refugee Camp and in other areas affected by occupation and other issues of the Palestinian Territories and Israel.</description>
