Janice contributes time and pride

Janice Green says:

I have lived in Sylvania Township since June, 2006, and even before I moved here, I was always attracted to Sylvania by the sign at the intersection of Monroe and Alexis (right before the entry to US 23N). There is a large tree piece of art and many real multi-colored flowers planted around it. This is such a warm, and welcoming location. My two nieces and one nephew have spent a few summers, as young teenagers, planting these flower beds throughout the area. That is such a wonderful idea, because it helps our teens be productive, learn some gardening ideas, and make their own money, too! Plus, it beautifies the community and says, indirectly, "We have pride in our community". I love my home, and spend time on my 'curb appeal' to show pride in my neighborhood and community, too.
