The Green Bears exploded for 28 third-quarter points, breaking open what had been a 6-0 halftime lead to win at home.

Will Longthorne led Ottawa Hills (4-2, 3-0 TAAC) with 12 carries for 74 yards, which included touchdown runs of 22 and 27 yards sandwiched around Michael Geiger's 20-yard interception return for a score during the decisive quarter to sink Edon (3-3, 1-2).

Jack Wollenburg added two touchdowns from 26 yards — one a run, the other a catch from quarterback Jonathan Rodriguez, who completed 12 of 24 passes for 84 yards.

Ottawa Hills outgained Edon 144-54 on the ground, but was also penalized 18 times for 135 yards. Edon's touchdown capped the game's scoring.
