Mud Hens finish suspended game with 3-1 win over Columbus

The Mud Hens won a suspended game today at Fifth Third Field, taking advantage of 10 walks to beat Columbus 3-1.

The game was cut short a day earlier after four innings. The teams will play a seven-inning game later tonight.

Bryan Holaday's fifth-inning double gave Toledo (4-11) a 3-0 lead. John Lindsey, who scored, led off the inning with a triple.

Luke Putkonen (1-0) allowed one earned run in three innings for the win. His only blemish was serving up a two-out RPI triple to Adam Abraham in the sixth.

Bruce Rondon pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for his second save.

Columbus' Daisuke Matsuzaka, who walked eight a day earlier, fell to 0-1.
