Zetterberg goal in overtime lifts Detroit Red Wings to 4-3 win over Anaheim Ducks

DETROIT -- Henrik Zetterberg's goal 1:04 into overtime lifted the Detroit Red Wings to a 4-3 win over Anaheim in Game 6 of a Western Conference quarterfinal series tonight at Joe Louis Arena.

Pavel Datsyuk gave the Red Wings a 1-0 lead at 18:48 of the first, and Anaheim's Kyle Palmieri tied the game at 1-1 at 11:31 of the second. Zetterberg gave the Red Wings a 2-1 lead six minutes into the third, and Justin Abdelkader scored five minutes later to give the Red Wings a 3-1 lead.

But Emerson Etem and Bobby Ryan scored two goals in the final four minutes of the third to send the two teams to the fourth overtime of the series.

Jonas Hiller made 25 saves for the Ducks, while Jimmy Howard made 34 saves for the Red Wings.

Game 7 of the Western Conference quarterfinal will be at 10 p.m. Sunday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
