Detroit Pistons sign G Siva of Louisville, who was a 2nd-round draft pick

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — The Detroit Pistons have signed second-round draft pick Peyton Siva.

The team announced the deal today. Detroit took the Louisville guard with the 56th pick in this year’s draft.

The 6-foot-1 Siva averaged 10.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists during his senior season, leading Louisville to the NCAA championship. He had 18 points and five assists in the national title game against Michigan.

Siva finished his college career with 677 assists, good for second on Louisville’s career list.
