Undefeated Liberty-Benton wins BVC title

FINDLAY — Nathan Craft threw two touchdown passes and ran for two Friday night as Liberty-Benton captured an outright Blanchard Valley Conference championship.

B.J. Lawson (35 yards) and Austin Combs (39) caught TD passes for the Eagles (9-0, 8-0 BVC). Combs had an 11-yard TD run. Joel Bell scored on a 75-yard run.

Austin Rettig rushed for 116 yards and a TD run for Arlington (7-3, 6-2).

 

Oak Harbor 35,Margaretta 14

OAK HARBOR — Andrew Heberling rushed for 258 yards on 17 carries for the Rockets in a Sandusky Bay Conference game. Heberling scored runs of 71, 25, and 54 yards.

Ben Genzman (20 carries, 166 yards) and Cole Weirich added TDs for the Rockets (5-5).

Stephen Freeh and Caleb Stockmaster caught touchdown passes from Dylan Bailey for Margaretta.
