The Cleveland Crush of the Legends Football League is moving to Toledo to play its home schedule.

The league, formerly called the Lingerie Football League, features seven-member teams playing tackle football on turf in shoulder pads, sports bras, and tight shorts. The league has teams in 12 North American cities.

The Crush will play two home games May 10 and June 21 at the Huntington Center.

The franchise was added to the league two years ago, playing its home schedule at Quicken Loans Arena.

Mitchell Mortaza, LFL chairman and founder, said in a news release that the team will continue to keep its Cleveland fan base while attracting new fans and players in the Toledo and Detroit area.

“Cleveland is an incredible sports town and the Q Arena is one of the finest arenas in the country. While it was an incredible combination for us, it simply did not fit within our business model moving forward,” he said.

It wasn’t clear whether the team will retain the Crush name. The league said tryouts for the Toledo squad will be held Jan. 4 at a location to be announced.
