Ohio State No. 6 in USA Today coaches poll

Ohio State is ranked sixth in the USA Today preseason college football coaches poll, released today.

Michigan State is ranked eighth and Michigan is unranked.

Florida State is No. 1, ahead of Alabama, Oklahoma, Oregon and Auburn.

Ohio State opens its season Aug. 30 against Navy at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Michigan opens its season Aug. 30 against Appalachian State at Michigan Stadium.
