    What to know

    ■ In the past 20 years, the Falcons have been a double-digit underdog at home five times. They’re 2-3 in those games, with the most recent win coming against Temple, a 12-point favorite, in 2011.

    ■ The meeting between the Falcons and Terrapins is the second of a three-game series that has been moved several times. BG won the first meeting 48-27 in 2015. The series will conclude with BG’s 2024 trip to College Park, Md.

    ■ BG’s Scott Miller is near the top of the national list in many receiving categories after a stellar first game. Against Oregon, Miller had 13 catches (second) for two touchdowns (ninth) and 166 receiving yards (eighth).
