Start time announced for Bowling Green's MAC opener

BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green’s Mid-American Conference opener with Miami will be a 3 p.m. kickoff Sept. 22 at Doyt Perry Stadium, the school announced Monday.

The Falcons’ game against the RedHawks will be televised by ESPN+, the network’s subscription streaming service.

Bowling Green won last season’s meeting in Oxford 37-29 thanks to a 99-yard fumble recovery inside the final two minutes.

With Monday’s announcement, Bowling Green knows its start time for all but two of its remaining games.

Sept. 15 — vs. Eastern Kentucky, 4 p.m.

Sept. 22 — vs. Miami, 3 p.m.

Sept. 29 — at Georgia Tech, TBA

Oct. 6 — at Toledo, 3:30 p.m.

Oct. 13 — vs. Western Michigan, 3 p.m.

Oct. 20 — at Ohio, 2 p.m.

Oct. 30 — vs. Kent State, 8 p.m.

Nov. 10 — at Central Michigan, 3 p.m.

Nov. 17 — at Akron, 3:30 p.m.

Nov. 23 — at Buffalo, TBA
